Taxi Licences
If you are interested in becoming a taxi driver, please contact either of the two taxi companies operating in the City of Guelph - Canadian Cab or Red Top Taxi - to see if either is hiring drivers.
If the taxi company is interested in hiring you, you will be directed to attend to the police station to hand in our application form, driver's licence history from MTO, a letter from the taxi company and fee of $100.00.
Upon successful completion of an interview with a Traffic Officer, the licence will be issued by the Guelph Police Service.
