Fingerprint, Photograph and Disposition Destruction

What is it?

The Guelph Police Service will consider destroying adult fingerprints, photographs and dispositions in accordance with the Guelph Police Service Fingerprint/Photograph Destruction policy.

How much?

There is no fee for this service.

How Long?

You will receive written notification of a decision within 30 days of the court disposition being updated in our systems. If approved it may take up to nine months to receive the appropriate documents from the RCMP and you will receive further written notification when the destruction process has been completed.

If denied you will have 30 days to file an appeal with the Destruction Review Committee. Applicants will be informed in writing of the final decision as soon as practicable.
